The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine switches to a daily mode of operation.

This was stated at a briefing by former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov on the air of the Segodnya Novosti program on the Ukraine 24 TV channel.

“Not force majeure, but daily”

“An agreement has been reached between everyone that the parliament is switching to a daily mode of work – not force majeure, but daily,” he said.

The ex-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada noted that this decision “will add both stability and peace in society”:

“When institutions work normally, and people see that the authorities are performing their functions, this just gives confidence in the future, and also that both the state and the authorities must understand how they will act in any situation that can unfold at any time.”

According to him, the Verkhovna Rada will perform its functions:

“Indeed, today it will work in a more operational mode. We, on the contrary, once appealed not to make these weeks so-called “committee weeks,” because many people’s deputies have left.

I am sure that everyone should be at their workplaces. This is not to sow any kind of panic, but everyone should be in place. If it is necessary to make this or that decision, so that people’s deputies can quickly join the work, get to the hall of the Verkhovna Rada and accept everything that is provided for by the Constitution, the law.”

Innovations in the Rada

A robot speaker has appeared in the Verkhovna Rada, which is always ready to talk to the press and answer the most tricky questions. The robot’s name is Andrew. He answers questions if he is addressed in Ukrainian. He can greet visitors, shake hands, and his handshake is quite strong.

To the journalist’s question “Whose Crimea?” he replied: “Ours.” Andrew also said that high salaries in the country will be in 2025 and that Putin will not attack Ukraine. On the question of whether the Minsk agreements would be implemented, he hung.

Recall, the fifth President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, believes that in connection with the emergence of new alarming data about the invasion of Russian troops into the territory of our country, the authorities should urgently convene a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council and the Verkhovna Rada.
