The Archbishop of Palermo Corrado Lorefice has launched an appeal for peace in Ukraine and in the world.

“For our part – he added – we declare our desire for peace and we undertake to examine ourselves and to renounce all discord and hostility, all verbal or physical violence, internal or external, in our homes and in our civil and Christian communities , in our human, family, social, professional, cultural contexts. And above all we commit ourselves to intensify with all the other Christian confessions and other faiths present in Palermo the prayer of peace for all nations and continents, in particular for Ukraine “.
