Citizenship income, 15 foreigners reported in Molise

(ANSA) – CAMPOBASSO, MARCH 14 – The Campobasso Police, at the end of specific investigations carried out by Digos, denounced 15 foreigners for having received, without having the right to, citizenship income. They were all referred to the prosecutors of Campobasso and Larino, territorially competent according to the offices of the Caf in which the applications were presented. The tax damage amounts to approximately 100 thousand euros. In two cases, these are people who falsely declared that they have resided in Italy for more than ten years, an indispensable requirement for accessing the benefit. For the other 13 cases, the complaint was triggered for false declarations made regarding the residence permit. The accused, in addition to having to return what was unduly received, risk a sentence of from 2 to 6 years of imprisonment. All were also notified to INPS for the forfeiture of the subsidy and for the recovery of sums unduly received. (HANDLE).
