(ANSA) – GENOA, MARCH 29 – He tried to steal a tablet from the hands of a one and a half year old child while he was in the stroller pushed by his mother in via Sottoripa, in the historic center of Genoa. The little boy, who was watching his favorite cartoon, didn’t let go, forcing the thief to pull the device hard, wounding the baby in the mouth. At that point the mother started screaming, putting the man on the run. The father, not far away, tried to chase him. The couple tracked him down nearby while he was drinking from a drinking fountain. The woman called the police while her father grabbed him to stop him and was injured. The agents, upon their arrival, called the ambulances.
The little boy was taken to Gaslini from where he was discharged with a prognosis of three days, while the robber was taken to the police station after a visit to the emergency room. (HANDLE).
