Nine Daspo up to 5 years for clashes at the Monza stadium

(ANSA) – MONZA, 01 APR – The chief of police of Monza, Marco Odorisio, ordered nine measures by DASPO, from three to five years, against nine people who, on the occasion of the football match for the Serie B championship Monza-Vicenza on 12 March last, at the end of the match, they became the protagonists of violent clashes.

On that occasion, at the end of the meeting, a group of local supporters, some with their faces covered and armed with poles, sticks and belts, reached the guest parking lot, sparking the reaction of the Vicenza fans. The two groups clashed and were only divided thanks to the intervention of the police.

The Digos and the Anticrime Police Office of the Monza and Brianza Police Headquarters, in collaboration with colleagues from Vicenza, then identified some of those involved in the violence, thanks also to the videos of the video surveillance system of the stadium and those made by the Police.

Among the nine subjected to Daspo, of which five from Monza and four from Vicenza, five were found to be repeat offenders.
