(ANSA) – RESCALDINA (MILAN), 02 APR – “We found evidence of the suspect’s statements in the apartment, blood traces were identified”. These are the words of the Public Prosecutor of Busto Arsizio (Varese), Carlo Nocerino, at the end of the first investigations by the Carabinieri of the Brescia Investigation Section in the apartment of Carol Maltesi, the 26 year old murdered in her home in Rescaldina (Milan), from 43 years old, Davide Fontana, his neighbor who confessed to the murder.
“The reconstruction of how the crime took place is still in progress – he added – The suspect will be questioned again in the coming days”. The apartment of the crime, said the Prosecutor, has been totally cleaned by the killer. Also the upper floor, where there is the lap dance pole to which Fontana said he tied Carol with the excuse of shooting an erotic video, and then hit her to death. “It was all carefully washed, we found several rags to be examined”, the Prosecutor specified, while the freezer where the killer kept the victim’s body after tearing it into pieces “was positioned downstairs, a very large freezer compared to to the size of the kitchenette “.
The same investigations were carried out in Fontana’s home, where Nocerino explained “blood traces were sought and electronic devices seized, which will be analyzed”.
“The only thing I can say is that the many puppets he had at home make sadness and tenderness” Carol, perhaps for her child “or perhaps hers”, concluded the Prosecutor.
Against Fontana, Nocerino concluded, “no psychiatric precedents of any kind have emerged”. (HANDLE).
