(ANSA) – VILLA SAN GIOVANNI, 03 APR – The complaint filed by the parents after yet another assault has triggered the arrest of a thirty-seven-year-old, with various precedents, by the police on charges of having implemented a a long series of abuses, carried out almost daily, against the father and mother in order to obtain from them the money necessary to buy drugs.
The arrest was made by the staff of the Commissariat of Villa San Giovanni in execution of an order of precautionary custody at home issued by the investigating judge of Reggio Calabria at the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Investigations revealed that the thirty-seven-year-old allegedly carried out aggressive conduct against his parents when they refused to give him the money to be able to buy the doses of drug he needed.
The investigating judge has ordered that the man be housed, under house arrest, in a therapeutic community to allow him to be able to overcome drug addiction.
