(ANSA) – ISOLA DEL GIGLIO (GROSSETO), 05 APR – The finance police has acquired documents from the Municipality of the Island of Giglio (Grosseto) on the basis of a provision ordered by the public prosecutor of the Maremma capital. According to what has been learned, the acquisition of the documents concerned in particular the municipal budgets of the last decade and various related documentation. Among this there would also be documents relating to the management of the funds received by the Municipality for the emergency relating to the sinking of the Costa Concordia.
The financiers showed up at the island town hall this morning, in Giglio Castello, and concluded the activity by returning to Grosseto in the early afternoon. Furthermore, according to what emerges, the investigations ordered by the prosecutor are the result of an investigation but would also draw impetus from the indications of one or more exposed.
