(ANSA) – AREZZO, APRIL 22 – By car he was carrying over 21 kilos of cocaine. For this reason the Arezzo State Police arrested a 49-year-old.
The traffic police officers of the Battifolle subsection on the Arezzo section of the Autosole stopped for a check the car, with an Italian plate, driven by a man, Calabrian, with a clean record. The too evasive answers given by the man and the nervous attitude of him, the investigators know, have made the policemen suspicious who have decided to proceed with the search of the car, also extended to the person. Upon careful examination, the car was found to be equipped with a substrate in which 20 cellophane loaves were hidden, which were later found to contain 21.775 kg of pure cocaine.
