(ANSA) – GENOA, APRIL 23 – Prince Albert of Monaco, in Genoa on the occasion of the Flag Festival and the conferral of honorary citizenship, after visiting Euroflora 2022 with the regional and city authorities, went to the Gaslini Hospital where he was welcomed by the president Edoardo Garrone, by the general manager Renato Botti, by the medical director Raffaele Spiazzi, together with a delegation of operators and small patients of the pediatric hospital. At the entrance window he wrote a long dedication to the Gaslini operators on the historical book of the signatures of illustrious visitors – from 1938 to today. “I express my congratulations and my admiration to the staff – wrote Alberto II – who do their utmost in this structure with humanity and dedication to guarantee the care and assistance and healing of the children”.
After the institutional photos, Prince Albert went to visit the Red House, the new reception facility dedicated to the relatives of the patients of the Gaslini hospital, built by the historic association Band degli Orsi, which has been working for many years at the service of patients of the hospital and their families.
