He beats his wife and stabs his brother-in-law, taken by counter-terrorism

(ANSA) – NAPLES, 05 MAY – It was necessary to call in a negotiator and the anti-terrorism teams to arrest a 45-year-old man who, perhaps even in the grip of drugs, first beat and segregated his wife in the bathroom and then stabbed the her brother, intervened to make him think.

It happened last night in Giugliano in Campania, in the province of Naples: the nightmare for women begins around 10 pm, in a house in via Biagio Riccio. At the height of a fight, the man attacks the woman with kicks and punches. She manages to warn the family and her brother arrives home. But the 45-year-old doesn’t want to hear reasons and stabs him. Fortunately, the injuries will turn out to be minor. At this point the man grabs his wife and closes himself in the bathroom. The carabinieri of Giugliano arrive on the spot together with colleagues from Castello di Cisterna. The door is locked, the windows barred and there is no sound from inside. The worst is feared. A negotiator intervenes, trying to reassure the 45-year-old, and also the anti-terrorism teams set up after the attack on the Bataclan in Paris.

The military decides to break in, break through the kitchen window and in a matter of seconds handcuff the attacker. The woman is found, petrified in the bathroom, in a state of shock. The 118 of her visits her but she does not detect serious injuries. The 45-year-old, on the other hand, ends up in prison on charges of mistreatment, injury and kidnapping. (HANDLE).
