A young man was killed and his body was found this morning in Vanzaghello, on the border between the provinces of Milan and Varese, on the state road 36 leading to Malpensa airport. On the body of the victim, probably of Maghreb origins and of apparent age between 20 and 30, there were no documents and signs of cigarette burns and violence were found, including bruises on the face and broken legs. A passing motorist gave the alarm.
The body was on the side of the road, half naked, with a swollen face, broken legs and a fleece resting on his trousers. A passing truck driver called 112. The Polstrada di Magenta (Milan) intervened on the spot for the first surveys, then the Flying Squad of Varese and that of Milan. According to initial investigations, the man was beaten, killed and then dumped from a car along highway 36. Through fingerprints, investigators are trying to trace the identity of the victim.
