(ANSA) – BARI, 20 MAY – The pontoon AD3, towed by the tugboat Paul, arrived in the port of Bari where it is docking at quay 31. The vessel left yesterday afternoon from the area where its previous tug, the Franco, sank P., about 50 miles from the Apulian coast. On board the pontoon there are 11 sailors, the only eyewitnesses of the shipwreck, who as soon as they disembark will be heard in the offices of the Bari Harbor Master’s Office delegated by the Bari Public Prosecutor’s Office which has opened a file for shipwreck and multiple manslaughter on the matter. In fact, three crew members died in the sinking and two others are still missing, while the only survivor at the moment is the commander, hospitalized in Bari. (ANSA).
