(ANSA) – MODENA, 02 JUN – Tomorrow morning at 9 in the ‘Sant’Anna’ prison in Modena, the hearing to validate the arrest of Monica Santi, the 32-year-old babysitter from Carpi under investigation by the Modena prosecutor for attempted murder. After the incident, the woman has closed in silence up to now, adding nothing else to a request for information on the child’s health conditions. For this reason it cannot be ruled out that the judge may order an expert opinion on the mental conditions of the arrested person, as well as the defense lawyer Francesca Neri could ask for.
According to testimonies, on Tuesday in Soliera it was she who made a thirteen-month-old baby fall from a window on the second floor of the house where she was taking care of the minor, now in prognosis reserved for the Maggiore hospital in Bologna. As far as we know, she would not be in danger of her life.
At the basis of the arrest there are also the stories of a cleaning lady and a neighbor who lead the carabinieri and prosecutors to hold the 32-year-old responsible for the incident.
Santi, once the two women saw the child on the ground at the back of the house, reported the sentence: “The child is now free”. (HANDLE).
