(ANSA) – FLORENCE, 10 JUN – As part of the Open procedure, the foundation that animated the initiatives of Leopolda and Matteo Renzi, the Constitutional Court will decide on November 23 the admissibility of the conflict of powers between state powers. It was learned today after the continuation of the preliminary hearing, in progress before the judge Sara Farini of Florence.
The Council will have to decide whether the Florentine magistrates, who included chats and e-mails from when Matteo Renzi was already a senator in the investigation file, should have requested formal authorization from the Senate in advance. If the judges of the Constitutional Court were to declare the conflict admissible, they will proceed with the evaluation of the issue on the merits and the decision will then probably arrive in 2023. In this case, the Florentine gup Sara Farini could decide the suspension of the preliminary hearing, which would have a long time slippage. If, on the other hand, they declare the conflict inadmissible, the problem of the continuation of the preliminary hearing will not arise.
