(ANSA) – MODENA, 11 JUN – The search for the helicopter lost track Thursday morning on the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines resumed from around 7 this morning under the coordination of the Air Force and the Prefecture of Modena.
The aircraft, with seven people on board (six passengers and the pilot), had departed from Capannori Tassignano (Lucca) airport and was headed for the Treviso area.
Yesterday numerous flyovers, and reconnaissance with ground teams, even on the Tuscan side of the ridge, did not give any results. On the third day of research, the Alpine Rescue is present with various territorial teams, some of which are ready to board helicopters for flyovers from above, and two mobile bases: one in Pievepelago and the other in Piandelagotti (in the Apennines Modenese, near the border with the province of Reggio Emilia).
The helicopter, hired by an Emilian company, for a few days was commuting between Tuscany and Veneto to bring some foreign managers, four Turkish and two Lebanese entrepreneurs, visiting some companies, in conjunction with an important paper fair in Lucca . The pilot is of Venetian origin. (HANDLE).
