(ANSA) – MILAN, 22 JUN – Attack on a train conductor at the Belgioioso station (Pavia). When the doors of the convoy opened, the man was beaten by four people, armed with chains, who raged without saying a word. The episode, which took place late yesterday evening, on the Trenord 10780 train, was denounced by the trade unions which, in “stigmatizing these criminal acts”, proclaimed a two-hour strike for the Mobile and for Trenord Assistance and Control.
The conductor suffered a compound fracture, the trade unions report, and several weeks of prognosis.
“This very serious act is added to three other serious episodes of aggression subsequent, in chronological order, to the known facts of Peschiera del Garda”, add the trade unions in a note, which express “solidarity and closeness to the workers victims of these umpteenth dramatic episodes that testify to a trend of rapid and constant growth “.
