(ANSA) – TURIN, 23 JUN – The financial police of Turin, in two different operations, seized over 5.3 million items and telephone accessories, including power banks, battery charger cables, covers, headphones, earphones, speakers stereo, branded Made in Italy, but of Chinese origin, and 51 thousand counterfeit garments with labels indicating the composition in silk, but actually acrylic. A fraud on the market for about 30 million euros. The seized material was in three warehouses in Milan and in the province of Novara.
As far as clothing is concerned, the counterfeit garments, if put up for sale, would have yielded an illicit gain of over 1 million euros. For telephone accessories, the seized goods, if placed on the market, would have yielded an illicit gain of approximately 28 million euros. (HANDLE).
