(ANSA) – MILAN, JUN 24 – They would have made him “glimpse the butt of a gun” and would have also uttered phrases such as “you must do what we tell you, otherwise we will kill you”, in addition to sending him messages of this kind: ” be good everyone is better off “. These are just some of the alleged threats addressed to the entrepreneur Enzo Costa, owner of Ferco srl which deals with cleaning services especially in health contracts, the victim of an alleged attempted extortion.

Investigation in which two days ago (the news was made public today) the Milan mobile squad arrested three people: Ivan Turola, Gerardo Toto and Ezio Carnago.

An alleged extortion of over 2 million euros for which Vittorio Boiocchi, the historic ultra-leader of the Inter team, is also being investigated (not arrested). Among other things, Enzo Costa was involved in a tranche of the now well-known Milanese investigation into the ‘Expo procurement dome’ in 2014 and immediately collaborated with the investigators.

As emerges from the precautionary custody order signed by the investigating judge Ileana Ramundo, at the request of the prosecutor Carlo Scalas, the “extortion claim” brought forward by the group (five suspects for attempted extortion) would be consummated “in three ’rounds'”, that is with three threatening ‘visits’, between March, April and June 2021, on the entrepreneur’s workplaces. And the reason for that request for money lay in the fact that Turola claimed to have won a tender for Ferco di Costa for cleaning services in Sicily. He had been arrested for corruption and auction disruption in May 2020 in an investigation by the Palermo prosecutors, in which he was indicated as the “referent” of Ferco. (HANDLE).
