More disciplinary subjects and less logic and general culture: the tests for the national restricted access courses of Medicine, Veterinary And Health care professions. In fact, the decree is available which – for the academic year 2022/2023 – defines the methods and contents of the admission tests to the single-cycle master’s degree courses in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, Veterinary Medicine and degree courses of the health professions.

The Minister of University and Research, Maria Cristina Messa, has signed the provision that reshapes, with respect to past years, the number of questions for each subject. The number of places available for enrollment will be announced with a subsequent provision.

More attention to disciplinary subjects and less logic and general culture. The new division of the selection test provides 15% of the test for logical reasoning, numerical reasoning and humanities quiz. The remaining percentage of the test is attributed to disciplinary subjects (biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics).

For the admission test, candidates must answer 60 multiple choice questions (there are 5 answer options available). The time available is 100 minutes. The maximum score foreseen for the evaluation of the tests is 90 points.
