Pittbull guarding drugs and bombs in a flower bed in Naples

NATO summit, Sanchez receives the leaders at the Prado for dinner

(ANSA) – NAPLES, June 30 – A lamb, a pit bull, half a kilo of cocaine and a TNT bomb: this is what the carabinieri found in a flowerbed, guarded by the Molosser, during checks carried out in the Barra district of Naples.

The soldiers of the Barra station, with the colleagues of the operational nucleus of Poggioreale and of the Campania Regiment, after having obtained the trust of the dog, probably placed to guard the area, inspected that patch of land and in a small pit, covered by a heavy stone, they found a plastic container inside which 470 grams of cocaine were stored, still to be cut. There was also a cylinder with a vacuum cotton cord: a bomb with a slow-burning fuse containing 100 grams of TNT, just enough to smash a van or a bar.

The control was immediately suspended and the area fenced, pending the intervention of the bomb disposal troops of the provincial command of Naples. (HANDLE).
