(ANSA) – TURIN, 21 JUL – “Words teach, examples drag. Only facts make words credible”. This is the sentence of Sant’Agostino written by the new commander of the Legion of the Carabinieri of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, Brigadier General Antonio Di Stasio, on the register of honor of the Arsenale della Pace del Sermig in Turin, which he has visited today. “We felt on the same side, each in their own role, with the due differences, at the service of our neighborhood, the city and the common good”, commented the general of the meeting he had with the founder of the Arsenale, Ernesto Olivero .

“The commitment is to make the face of peace concrete, where we are, with all the people we can meet”, concluded the general. On Saturday Ernesto Olivero will meet and have lunch with the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, who will arrive in Turin precisely for the solemn oath of the students of the Carabinieri School, which is celebrating the bicentenary.
