(ANSA) – MARSALA, 27 JUL – Electoral corruption, forgery and trafficking of illicit influences are some of the crimes hypothesized by the Marsala Public Prosecutor’s Office in an investigation by the Guardia di Finanza that involves ten people, including politicians from the province of Trapani.

The survey is trying to shed light on the world of vocational training, which according to investigators was used to broaden the electoral consensus in favor of the politicians involved. In particular, people who had no qualifications were included in the training courses of the entities managed by the suspects. These are publicly funded training courses. This in exchange for electoral consent in the recent municipal elections of Petrosino, where one of the suspects, Sara Accardi, was a candidate for the City Council (first of the non-elected in the “Freedom for Petrosino” list), or in view of the regional elections next autumn.
