(ANSA) – GORIZIA, JUL 28 – A 28-year-old man residing in the Gorizia area was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months of imprisonment for mistreatment in the family. At the same time, the precautionary measure of house arrest with an electronic bracelet was applied.
The investigations, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Gorizia and conducted by the Carabinieri, in synergy with the Judicial Police section of the State Police, found, also through the aid of technical equipment, the severely mistreating conduct, consisting of physical and psychological violence , demeaning attitudes and threats repeatedly put in place by the man to the detriment of his partner, in an advanced state of pregnancy, and of his minor daughter, causing the woman to be in a condition of psychological prostration and total subjection to her partner.
