(ANSA) – CUNEO, 02 AUG – A young shepherd, originally from Burkina Faso, has lost his “workmate”: a border collie puppy who helped him groom the sheep in the mountain pastures, in the Robourent lakes area. It happens in the pastures in the upper Stura valley, in the Municipality of Argentera (Cuneo), almost on the border with France after the Maddalena hill. Thus a hiker, today (Tuesday 2 August) published an appeal on Facebook on a well-known page with 85 thousand subscribers where photos and videos of the Cuneo Alps are posted. In his appeal, shared hundreds of times in a few hours, he writes: “Being a puppy I can understand that he followed some tourists: it often happens that shepherd dogs follow them in search of food and cuddles, but they are never abandoned and to shepherds they are used for their work. Anyone who had taken it with them is asked to return it “. A few dozen comments followed, then disabled by the author of the post, where some wrote: “They saw the dog following the tourists who came down from the Italian side”. (HANDLE).
