(ANSA) – NAPLES, AUGUST 10 – A diver in difficulty, injured and bleeding probably after being hit by a boat whose driver did not stop, was rescued in the waters of Agropoli (Salerno) by the financiers engaged in an operational cruise aboard the Coast Guard G.211 “Appuntato Gottardi”, under the Naval Operations Section of Salerno.
The financiers noticed the diver wriggling in the water and heard his cries for help, so the vessel approached and the diver was loaded on board, where he was given first aid. In the meantime, a 118 vehicle arrived at the port of Agropoli, contacted by the soldiers of the Fiamme Gialle, and the diver was taken over by the doctors and taken to the Salerno hospital.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Vallo della Lucania has opened a file against unknown persons for serious personal injuries and failure to rescue. (HANDLE).
