(ANSA) – BIANCO, AUGUST 10 – A 76-year-old woman, with physical disability problems, died in her home in Bianco, in Locride, due to a fire that occurred in the house due to accidental causes. The woman’s body was found in the kitchen, from where, according to the first findings, the flames developed. The person who lived with the victim and who assisted him was unable to help due to the speed with which the fire spread. Firefighters from Bianco’s detachment went to the place.
The house in which the fire broke out is located in a six-story building. No other homes in the building were damaged by the flames.
According to what the firefighters have ascertained, the woman was unable to save herself due to her motor disability.
The woman’s lifeless body was found by firefighters at the entrance to the kitchen veranda, where the disabled woman used to sleep.
The person who was with the victim and who was unable to help is a relative of the woman. It was she who called 115 to raise the alarm, but when the firefighters arrived on the scene, the disabled person was already dead.
