‘Ndrangheta: Vittorio Raso extradited to Italy and arrested

Raso was arrested on June 22 in Barcelona.

“The execution of the restrictive measure – informs a note from the Turin police headquarters – was made possible by the completion of the extradition procedures of the arrested person who, as part of a recent investigative activity, started on the basis of his declaration of inaction and coordinated by the Dda , had been located in Spain by the investigators of the Turin mobile squad “. The intervention was carried out by the personnel of the Central Operational Service of the Central Anti-Crime Directorate of the State Police, the Service for International Police Cooperation, the Turin mobile squad and the border police of the Malpensa airport.

The Attorney General of Piedmont had issued a prison order following a sentence of 17 years, 9 months and 10 days for association aimed at drug trafficking and other drug offenses. Raso was on the list of the 100 most dangerous fugitives. (HANDLE).
