(ANSA) – FLORENCE, AUGUST 28 – Other 788 new cases (average age 51 years, positive / swab ratio 13.10% down from 13.99%) and one death from Covid within 24 hours in Tuscany according to the Region . The latest victim is a woman who did not reside in Tuscany. 10,632 have died since the beginning of the epidemic, including 152 people not resident in the region.
The new cases bring to 1,373,873 the total positives recorded from the beginning in the region (+ 0.1% on the total of the previous day).
The healed – 577 those in 24 hours with the negative swab – grew by 0.05% and reached 1,280,801 (93.2% of total cases).
The currently positive are 82,440 (+ 0.3% on yesterday). Among them the hospitalized are 304 (-12 people the balance between admissions and discharges on yesterday, equal to -3.8%) of which 6 in intensive care (balance unchanged). Another 82,136 positive people are in isolation at home, as they have mild symptoms that do not require hospital care, or are symptom-free (+222 on yesterday, equal to + 0.3%). (HANDLE).
