NSDC official made a deal with his mother for UAH 1.7 million

The chief of staff of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Sergei Gerbeda sold real estate to his mother for about 1.7 million hryvnia.

The relevant data are indicated in the electronic declaration of significant changes in the property of the official.

The document dated September 7, 2021 states that Gerbeda received UAH 1,697,755 from the alienation of real estate. The property was bought from him by Galina Gerbeda, who is his mother. At the same time, the declaration does not specify which real estate is being sold.

Note that in 2020 Gerbeda declared two apartments, a garage, a summer cottage, a barn, a land plot and a shed in Kiev worth 1.2 million hryvnia.

What should be indicated in the declaration?

Bank metals, hryvnia, dollars and other currencies are subject to declaration. It is also necessary to indicate in the declaration the property that belongs to the taxpayer, including on the right of joint or partial joint ownership.

You also need to declare:

• land plots, residential and non-residential real estate, objects of construction in progress;
• vehicles;
• jewelry;
• objects of art;
• antiques;
• gems;
• precious metals;
• securities (shares, government bonds), parts or shares in the property of legal entities, other corporate rights;
• any sources of receiving dividends or other types of income (for example, a bank deposit);
• intellectual property rights (inventions, ownership of trademarks, etc.);
• commemorative coins and banknotes.
