The Ukrainian Armed Forces will not shoot at peaceful Russian citizens. Oleksiy Arestovich, advisor to the head of the President’s Office, spoke about this on the air of the Ukraine 24 channel, commenting on his statement that if Russia does not stop its aggression against Ukraine, it is possible that in the near future Ukrainian missiles will be aimed at Moscow.

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces are not going to kill civilian Russian citizens,” Arestovich said: “In no case. And the missiles aimed at Moscow are not at residential areas of Moscow (if they are ever directed), but at legitimate military targets on the side of the Russian Federation, “” he said.

The presidential adviser noted that he spoke during the conversation, and his words were a response to the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin about the danger that NATO missiles deployed in Ukraine would pose to Moscow.

“I said that if Putin continues to behave like this, then someday Ukrainian missiles will be directed at Moscow. But we never hear what is before and what is after. We take a phrase, then we cling to it and start”, – explained the politician.

He also noted that Ukraine does not threaten anyone, but only warns. When the Kremlin warned of the consequences of the aggressive actions, it caused quite a stir in the Russian media.

At the same time, the adviser to the Office of the President is confident that the threats and killings of Ukrainian citizens should be held accountable.
