How to clean even the dirtiest oven: three ingredients will help

The oven should be cleaned regularly, otherwise old dirt, grease and food residues will be very difficult to remove from the surfaces. If you do not want to use store-bought chemicals, you can save money by using effective “folk” advice.

Baking soda, vinegar, citric acid are the simplest ingredients to help remove stale fat. GLOBAL HAPPENINGS figured out how to clean even the dirtiest oven.

How to clean an oven with baking soda

Soda is known for its cleansing properties, so it can quickly and effectively wash heavy dirt. It is enough to prepare the pasta by mixing soda and water to the consistency of “porridge”. The mixture is applied to the dirt and wait a few hours. After that, wash off the remaining soda with warm water.

Will vinegar help?

Vinegar is often used to clean various surfaces. No need to prepare solutions or mixtures – vinegar is recommended to simply apply to dirty areas, leave it for several hours and rinse with water.

Life hack with citric acid

Mix lemon juice or citric acid with water and use a sponge to apply the solution to the dirt. The algorithm of actions is similar – we wait 2-3 hours and rinse with water.

“Steam bath”

Cleaning experts also advise trying “steam cleaning”. Pour water (about 0.5 l) into a baking sheet, add detergent and leave in the oven for 30 minutes. Turn on the oven at 100°C. The effect of “steam bath” will allow the fat to soften and dissolve faster. Then we wait until the oven has cooled down and remove the remaining dirt with a sponge.
