The girl lost in the river in Calabria has been found dead

Denise Galatà, the 19-year-old student who had been missing since yesterday after falling into the water while rafting on the Lao River in Laino Borgo, was found dead. Divers from the fire brigade identified the young woman’s body, which was underwater. The discovery took place a short distance from the point where the nineteen year old had fallen, a few meters deep in the river waters. The hypothesis that appears more reliable is that the young woman, after having ended up in the water at the moment of the collision between the dinghy on which she was and the other vessel that was proceeding further ahead, did not have the strength to re-emerge and drowned . Investigations in this sense, however, were initiated by the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Cassano allo Ionio, under delegation from the Public Prosecutor of Castrovillari.
