(ANSA) – CAGLIARI, 09 NOV – There are still many unvaccinated Sardinians: according to the weekly government report updated last Friday, the share of the island’s population that has not received even a dose is 207,165 out of about 1.6 million inhabitants .
Conversely, those who completed are 1,241,187 (1,191,282 with double dose and 49,905 single dose, with an average of 1,348 per day), equal to 77.7% of the total population and 83.6% of residents over 12 vaccinable based on currently available sera.
To reach 80% of the population it will take at least a month, for 90% we are talking about January 2022.
Currently 190,363 people (15.3%) were vaccinated more than 6 months ago and of these 49,288 have already received the third dose (additional and booster), that is 4.95% of the population of vaccinable over 12. .
Out of over 5 thousand doses administered yesterday in the island hubs, over 2 thousand are third doses, about 1300 second calls, while less than 500 the first inoculations, for which the decline continues. (HANDLE).
