Are you laughing at Saakashvili? The ex-president of Georgia harshly “ran over” the Russians

The fourth president of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili, reacted to the reaction of Russians, who ridiculed the video with the head of the Executive Committee of Ukraine’s Reforms Mikheil Saakashvili. He posted the corresponding post in his Twitter.

“The Russians, who laugh at the footage of insulting the third president of Georgia: yes, the Georgians did it, but you pay these Georgians! And the rest of Georgia rallies in contempt for that oprichnina, which is alien to our proud and freedom-loving people!” – wrote the President of Georgia.

On the eve, Saakashvili was taken to a new prison with the use of force, he was generally taken into the elevator. The politician did not even begin to describe the actions of the Georgian security officials, pointing out: “No comment.” At the entrance to the building, Saakashvili clung to the wall, but he was pushed inside. And then, because of his resistance, several people literally carried Saakashvili into the elevator, after which they simply carried him along the corridor to the ward.

The situation with Saakashvili

• Recently, a council of doctors made an urgent statement about the need to immediately transfer the politician to a hospital with multi-technology equipment. As a result, on November 8, Saakashvili was taken out of correctional colony No. 12 by helicopter.
• Ukrainian Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova said that he was transferred to correctional colony No. 18, which is near Tbilisi. According to her, there are persons who were imprisoned during the presidency of Saakashvili in Georgia.

• Mikheil Saakashvili promised to end the hunger strike as soon as he was transferred to a civilian hospital.

Detention of Saakashvili

• Saakashvili was nevertheless detained in Georgia. The law enforcement agencies had preliminary information about his transfer from Ukraine to Georgia, and this process took place under full control.
• Subsequently, the media began to publish the first footage of the arrest of the former president of Georgia. According to the general director of the Mtavari Archi TV company Nika Gvaramiya, Saakashvili was detained in Tbilisi.
• The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry demanded explanations from the Georgian Embassy about the grounds and circumstances of the detention of Ukrainian citizen Mikheil Saakashvili.
• President Volodymyr Zelenskyy promised that Ukraine will do everything possible to release the head of the Executive Committee of Reforms Mikheil Saakashvili.
• The Prime Minister of Georgia named the condition for Mikheil Saakashvili’s return to Ukraine.
• The politician went on a hunger strike, and because of this, his health deteriorated sharply. He stated that he had lost 15 kg behind bars. Saakashvili started having problems with motor skills and diction.
