(ANSA) – CAGLIARI, NOV 15 – Due to the bad weather and the weather alert issued by the Civil Protection until midnight on Monday and the ordinances of the mayor of Cagliari and the mayor of Monserrato, in addition to the schools, the University also closes today.

The following activities are suspended: teaching activities (examples: lectures, exams, exercises, seminars, workshops, student collaborations, Erasmus); libraries, study rooms and related activities; discussion of degrees.

Didactic activities programmed exclusively at a distance are also suspended – the University says – as they may not take place regularly due to potential power cuts. Teachers and technical-administrative and librarian staff can go to work, except in cases for which there are difficulties determined by events (difficulties in reaching the workplace due to transport, or family difficulties due to the fact that children do not go to school).

And the Municipality of Cagliari, in consideration of the various criticalities deriving from bad weather, announces that via dei Valenzani and via Italia in Pirri have been closed to traffic, from via Salvo D’Acquisto to via Pisano and Via Lorenzo il magnifico ( due to the collapse of a wall).
