(ANSA) – SAVONA, NOVEMBER 24 – Two men were arrested by the Savona carabinieri for aggravated fraud, extortion and possession of forged identity documents. They are Davide Crisai, 55, and Marco Parente, 28, both from Naples, the city from which they set out from time to time to make the ‘shots’.
They cheated elderly women in Northern Italy by making them believe that their daughter had been arrested. The sum had to be delivered to the ‘relatives’ of the elderly invested, and an alleged Carabinieri Marshal presented himself to collect it.
The two scammers left Naples with a rental car, several cell phones in the name of front names and forged identity documents and reached the chosen city, where they remained for two days, the time necessary to allow the elusive lawyer to call all the utilities. fixed area and locate the victim.
