Lukashenka arrived at the border with Poland – video meeting with migrants

Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrived at the border with Poland, where migrants are staying. BelTA writes about it.

According to Lukashenka, Belarus is not going to play with the fate of people.

“In no case will we play and make politics on your destinies,” he said.

Lukashenko noted that there is no need to look for a better life in Europe.

“Some of you, believing Western propaganda, are looking for a better life there. Probably, life is better there than on the land you came from. But the worst thing, as I understand it (I see there are a lot of kids here), you, adults do not see prospects for their children in their homeland, “Lukashenka said.

He also noted that he understands migrants who are in trouble and are fleeing their countries, but he consoled them that all this is temporary.

“In a word, people here are different. But you have one big, common problem: you just got into trouble. I’m sure it’s temporary. We, Belarusians, including myself, will do everything as you wish, even if it is bad for Poles, Latvians and someone else, “he said.

On the eve it became known that migrants, demanding release, staged a riot in a guarded center for foreigners in Polish Wenjin (Lubusz Voivodeship). The men broke windows, chanted “Freedom”, and also shouted “that the purpose of their arrival in Europe is Germany.”

The European Union has developed the fifth package of sanctions against Belarus. This package is expected to be adopted by the end of November.

Lukashenka disagrees

The self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko accused the West of unleashing the war at the hands of Poles, residents of the Baltic countries and Ukrainians, and also expressed a lack of understanding why the EU does not take illegal immigrants home at its own expense.

What happens on the Belarusian-Polish border

• Belarus arranged a “migration terror” for Poland, directing the flows of refugees to the border of the European Union. For example, on November 8, a large column of migrants from the territory of Belarus moved to the border with Poland. They were accompanied by Belarusian security officials in military uniform and with weapons, some of them with service dogs. The State Border Service of Belarus said that they were doing this allegedly because of the indifference of the Polish authorities.
• The alarm has been sounded in Ukraine: Lukashenka may unexpectedly redirect migrants to our border. In this regard, Ukraine is already strengthening the border with Belarus with the help of engineering fortifications, equipment, even drones have been used.
• On November 23, at about 19:00, a group of more than 100 aggressive foreigners tried to forcefully break through the border. Stones were thrown at the Polish security forces. The attack took place under the supervision of the Belarusian services.
