Beliansky: The editorial policy of the channels “Ukraine” and “Ukraine 24” is pro-Ukrainian

The editorial policy of the TV channels “Ukraine” and “Ukraine 24” absolutely meets journalistic standards, written and unwritten laws and rules of life of modern Ukrainian society and is pro-Ukrainian. Dmitry Belyansky, a member of the Supervisory Board of Media Group Ukraine, spoke about this in an interview.

“The editorial policy of the channels” Ukraine “and” Ukraine 24 “is pro-Ukrainian. A strong, independent and sovereign Ukraine is our common goal. Dmitry Belyansky notes that the channels absolutely correspond to the written and unwritten laws and rules of life of modern Ukrainian society, and recently, on the contrary, he often heard “a reproach for emphasized pro-statehood, rather than the presence of pro-Russian narratives on the air.”

“We have never hidden from viewers that we are a commercial channel. We do not distort the news, but do we have the right to inform the public about the work of business, including the SCM group?” – said a member of the supervisory board of “Media Group Ukraine”.

He stressed that the Ukraine 24 TV channel was built so that absolutely any opinion could be heard there, and “any Ukrainian journalist who did not run away and did not go over to the side of the enemy in this war can work on our air, no matter what views he professes “.

“Because this is the freedom of speech guaranteed by the Constitution. And it is this that distinguishes us from the inhabitants of a totalitarian state, where the opinion of the majority of residents is the only available form of truth,” concluded Dmitry Belyansky.

Banking pressures the media?
