The attending physician of the third President of Georgia and the head of the Executive Committee of the Reforms of Ukraine, Mikhail Saakashvili, who has been under arrest for the third month already, said that in the near future his patient will be examined by a psychiatrist. Relatives and friends of Saakashvili have repeatedly stated that the former head of state is depressed.
This was reported by the TASS agency with reference to the attending physician who is a member of the medical council under the Ombudsman of Georgia, Grigol Grigolia.

“There was information that Saakashvili was weakened, it was difficult for him to stand and talk. We also have information that he receives large doses of psychotropic substances, so it became necessary for the council to visit the ex-president in the Gori hospital. We’ll see what kind of medication he gets.
