The South Tyrolean videomaker Andrea Pizzini, who has been documenting life in the Covid wards for some time, interviewed Genevieve who is still hospitalized and needs oxygen, but the worst is over.
“The worst moment – he says – was last Tuesday when I could no longer get up, not even to go to the bathroom.
I was always on the sofa and I couldn’t do anything. ”The woman confesses that she was afraid for the baby she is carrying.
“I wanted it so much and I would never forgive myself if something happened.” The patient tells Pizzini that she was “a bit against vaccines”, after this experience she instead makes an appeal to be vaccinated, especially future mothers, “because you have a life inside of you and it would be selfish” not to. “I never want to see my 9-year-old daughter cry for me again, it hurts to see her like that,” she says.
