(ANSA) – TURIN, 18 DEC – A crane fell this morning in Turin on a building in via Genova. According to the first information provided by 118, which is working on the spot with the police, one man – probably a worker engaged in renovations – died and another was seriously injured. According to preliminary information, the doctors are evaluating the conditions of another three or four injured.
The crane was being assembled and ‘collapsed’ on itself, ending up against a building at number 107.
“We heard a loud roar, we looked out on the balcony and saw the crane stretched along the road – says a local resident – It was terrible”. According to the firefighters, three people would have ended up under the metal structure, workers engaged in the assembly of the crane: one died instantly. (HANDLE).
