(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 24 JAN – The death of Liliana Resinovich could date back to the day the woman disappeared from her home, on 14 December. According to what is learned, the conditions in which the body was found on January 5 would be compatible with a death that occurred several days earlier. The body was found in the greenery of the park of the former psychiatric hospital of San Giovanni – not far from the house that Resinovich shared with her husband, Sebastiano Visintin – stuffed into two black bags to form one. The head was wrapped in two clear plastic bags.

The state in which it was found, also given the weather conditions of the winter period and the relative protection given by the black bags, could be compatible with a death that occurred about twenty days earlier.

In the meantime, the investigations carried out by the Mobile Squad and coordinated by the Prosecutor’s Office continue, pending the results of the toxicological tests. The hypothesis of a suicide was not excluded.
