Corpse in Pavese: arrested woman asks for release

(ANSA) – MILAN, 24 JAN – He presented a petition to revoke the order of custody in prison, and in the alternative for the granting of house arrest Barbara Pasetti, 44, arrested for attempted extortion in the context of Luigi Criscuolo, 60, known in Pavia as “Gigi Bici” for having managed a bicycle resale and maintenance shop for a long time.

Pasetti, physiotherapist, is the woman who found the body of Gigi Bici outside the house in Calignano di Cura Carpignano (Pavia) on 20 December, who had been missing from home since November and who was allegedly killed with a gunshot to the head.

According to the prosecution, she allegedly made various extortive requests to the man’s family to obtain their release and is also under investigation for murder and concealment of a corpse. The Pavia Public Prosecutor’s Office has in fact opened a file with the hypotheses of murder, kidnapping and concealment of a corpse.

Against the woman there would be several phone calls to solicit the ransom and others in which she would refer to the murder. (HANDLE).
