(ANSA) – MILAN, 25 JAN – The State Police, coordinated by the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office, as part of the investigative activity to identify those responsible for the sexual violence, robberies and injuries that occurred on New Year’s Eve in Piazza Duomo in Milan, is carrying out a further five searches in Turin.

They are adults, three Italians of Moroccan origin and two Moroccans holders of residence permits, aged between 19 and 24 years.

In the homes of the young people searched – explains the Police -, three of whom under investigation for the New Year’s events (in the case of the other two they are searches of third parties), electronic devices and clothing corresponding to those worn on the night of January 1st were seized. .

The searches of the agents of the Milan Mobile Squad also saw the involvement of the policemen of the PG Section of the State Police at the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Mobile Squad of the Turin Police Headquarters and the Lombardy and Piedmont Crime Prevention Departments.

At present, the investigations have focused on five episodes that took place on New Year’s Eve and which see eleven girls as offended parties. In recent days, 18 boys have already been searched between Milan and Turin, 12 of whom are under investigation. Two were arrested and are now in prison.

In the first searches, the investigations focused on three episodes with nine victims. In recent days, two other girls have reported two other separate cases and have also been heard by the adjunct Letizia Mannella and by the prosecutor Alessia Menegazzo providing useful feedback. (HANDLE).
