Italian engineer found dead in Amsterdam, murder hypothesis

A computer engineer originally from Allumiere (Rome), Paolo Moroni, 42, was found dead in Amsterdam where he had been working for some years. According to what is learned, the death dates back to January 27 and the Farnesina subsequently notified the young man’s family.
The family, owner of a restaurant in the center of the province of Rome, could not contact him. Then the tragic news. Investigations are underway by the Dutch police and there is the hypothesis of murder: the circumstances of a death that present many obscure aspects are to be clarified.

“He was quiet,” Moroni’s brother and sister would comment on the last phone call on Sunday. In the chat they had talked about the photos taken last summer and the man had not let any signs of concern leak out. According to preliminary information, the 42-year-old would have died a violent death. Moroni had returned to Amsterdam, where he had been working regularly for years, for about ten days after spending a period of smart working in his hometown, Allumiere, in the province of Rome.
