(ANSA) – VATICAN CITY, 02 FEB – Out of schedule at the general audience of Pope Francis in the Paul VI Hall. At the end of the Pontiff’s catechesis, shouts from one of those present were heard overlapping Bergoglio’s voice. The Pope asked everyone to pray for him.
“We heard a person shouting, who had some problems, I don’t know if physical, psychic, spiritual, but a brother of ours with some problem. I would like to end up praying for him, our brother who is suffering, poor fellow. If he was shouting it is because he suffers, has some need, do not be deaf to the need of this brother “, the Pope said closing with a Hail Mary for the person.
The person who shouted during the hearing is said to be a man, apparently between 40 and 50 years old. He spoke in English but, screaming, his words could not be understood well. He wore the mask but then took it off. A Swiss guard and a gendarme then removed him from the Paul VI Hall, according to reports by those present, without having to use force. (HANDLE).
