Rave party in the dismantled Modena area, 156 young people identified

(ANSA) – MODENA, 06 FEB – Police and Carabinieri have dismantled a rave party that has already begun and is destined to grow overnight in the Modenese area: 156 young people aged between 20 and 30 have been identified, coming from the area but also from Livorno, Ravenna, Reggio Emilia, Parma, Forlì, Rimini, Trento and L’Aquila. Acoustic system seized.

Around four o’clock an anomalous flow of cars and vans was intercepted by carabinieri patrols heading towards Campogalliano towards a rural area close to the A22 motorway. The rave was organized in some disused warehouses used for the processing of marble. Loud music was coming from these, and there were several dozen cars in the neighborhood. At that point reinforcements were called and further crews of the Arma, patrols of the State Police from Modena and from the nearby Commissariat of Carpi were brought together.

Together with the Traffic Police, the area was closed off and the police stopped the flow of cars, vans and other young people who were arriving recalled by the tam tam. The boys who were already inside the shed were identified thanks to the staff competition of the Mobile Department of Bologna. Also check those approaching and dissuaded.

For those who were in the shed, the complaint for building invasion will be triggered by the Arma and the relative subjective position for the adoption of the necessary prevention measures will be assessed by the Police Headquarters.

Investigations are underway to trace the organizers, who will be reported both for having started the event without the required authorization, and for the violation of the health measures in place that prohibit the dance.

The anti-drug canine unit of the Guardia di Finanza and the local police also contributed to the operation.

At the end of the checks, a reconnaissance of the shed was carried out, which will be required to be definitively made safe to avoid similar events, with the staff of the Scientific Police cabinet of the Questura. (HANDLE).
