The Ukrainians accuse the Russians of having written on some bombs, presumably destined for Azovstal, the words spoken by the Ukrainian band Kalush after the victory at Eurovision precisely to save the Mariupol steel plant under the siege of the Russians. The complaint comes from the adviser of the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andriushenko who publishes some images on Telegram, immediately relaunched by the Ukrainian media. “This is the reaction of the Russian army to our victory at Eurovision 2022”, writes Andryushchenko, in the text accompanying the three photographs, in which he denounces his “anger”.
In the photos, of which it is impossible to verify the authenticity or how they would have come into possession of the Ukrainians, you can see the bombs, not yet dropped, written in English and in Russian with a black marker.
“Help Mariupol, help Azovstal now”, is written in English on a device, the words spoken by Kalush frontman Oleh Psjuk at the end of the performance. All the bombs show yesterday’s date, ’14 .05 ‘. On another bomb, according to Ukrinform, the inscription in Russian appears in Russian “Kalush, as you asked. On Azovstal”. On another device, also in Russian, we read the words Eurovision 2022 and ‘Azov’.
