(ANSA) – JESI, MAY 26 – A small group of about twenty people, no-vax and no-Green pass, challenged the president of the 5-star Movement Giuseppe Conte who intervened in Jesi (Ancona) to ‘launch’ the list “Jesi Breathe “, also supported by Europa Verde, in support of the candidate for mayor, the outgoing director of the Democratic Party, Lorenzo Fiordelmondo who will run at the administrative offices on 12 June. “Go away”, “shame”, “I lost my job because of you”, shouted the protesters, in the face of many who cheered and supported the former prime minister in the square.

Screams and whistles continued while Conte answered the reporters: a supporter of the opposing “work and freedom” list presented himself with a microphone and amplifier to contest. A “repentant M5s” wrote “Exit Government” in a sign.

“They told me they are no-vax – the M5s president replied in a short return post -, convinced supporters of anti-scientific positions. This makes me even more proud of the work we have done together with the national community: if the choices had they been entrusted to them we would have all gone to hell. ” During this protest, monitored by plainclothes police officers, there were some moments of tension but no riots were recorded.
